The position of Resident Advisor you make of it: you who live within a residence with a wide variety of exceptional leadership skills, and is willing to commit their efforts to the enhancement of Residence. Residence Services supports our student includes on call, programming, mediation.
Successful completion of the RA Class is required before being eligible for hire. The primary responsibility of the RA is to help foster a safe and welcoming community in residence through creative and educational programming and support each resident in achieving their academic, social, and personal goals. They are hired on a different timeline than the Resident Advisors in Vermont. Each Resident Assistant RA will be a full-time Concordia student that lives in residence and is responsible for overseeing a section of students. Resident Advisors are not eligible for college employment benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, etc.
